A rural English Village in the Year of Our Lord 1792. 

Two men lay dead, the bizarreness of their deaths matched only with their gruesomeness – a farmer pecked to death by his own recently slaughtered chickens, and a body snatcher’s life cut short in the middle of his grisly business. When the Doctor discovers on his arrival the mutilated corpse of a sheep that appears to have been devoured by normally helpless field mice, he begins an investigation into the sinister mystery.  Amid a background of slavery, body snatching, medical research and voodoo it isn’t long before he uncovers more than he bargained for.

 

This adventure stars the Second Doctor, Victoria and Jamie.
